TAB Gıda, one of the largest and leading players in Turkey's quick service restaurant (HSR) sector, published its first GRI-compliant sustainability report, including its commitments for the future, with the motto "We are more than a hamburger".
TAB Gıda, one of the largest and leading players in Turkey's quick service restaurant (HSR) sector, continues to grow with more than 1,800 restaurants by increasing its operational efficiency, while also continuing to manage its economic, environmental and social impact with a responsible approach. While serving more than 1 million guests every day, it not only offers fast and delicious experiences, but also combines accessibility, food safety, high quality and environmental awareness in the same pot.
With this understanding, TAB Gıda published its first sustainability report with the motto "We are more than a hamburger", in which it explains its sustainability strategy, the impact it creates with the practices it implements with this focus, and its sustainability targets.
TAB Gıda 2024 Sustainability Report was prepared in accordance with the 2021 Universal Standards published by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and in compliance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In the report, the sustainability studies carried out under the focus areas of "Respect for Food", "Care for the Planet" and "Value for Human" were conveyed, and sustainability commitments extending to 2030 for a more livable world were also included.

TAB Gıda, whose respect for food is one of the core values that guide every stage of its business, acts responsibly in many areas from waste prevention to sustainable supply chain practices and makes using food at its value a priority. With this understanding, it selects suppliers not only based on product supply, but also based on its vision of working with business partners who have internalized the food safety culture. TAB Gıda, which is included in the certification program recognized by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative), which it sees as a basic condition, not a choice, shows the trace of this transparency and control chain in every product it offers to its consumers. It monitors the freshness and safety of its products from field to fork with its logistics centers that have the BRCGS Global Storage and Distribution Standard Certificate. With its “Know What You Eat” platform, it transparently presents all the details of the products, from their source to their certificates, to its consumers. All its raw materials are produced by TFI TAB Gıda Yatırımları A.Ş. It can control the supply chain end to end by supplying it through the Group Companies in the ecosystem under its roof. Considering the responsible and efficient management of water as both a part of environmental awareness and an important requirement for its operational stability, TAB Gıda takes action by taking into account the risks involved while developing savings-oriented and innovative solutions. In addition, the company strengthens its waste management processes and continues to contribute to the circular economy with its practices to reduce food and packaging waste.
