Düzce Governor Mr. Selçuk Aslan, Ministry of National Education Support Services General Directorate Head of Projects and Social Partners Department Gökçen Boz, Provincial Director of National Education Emrullah Aydın, ÇEVKO Foundation Public, Foreign Relations and Projects Senior Manager Alphan Eröztürk, ÇEVKO Foundation Corporate Communications, Education and Green Point Senior Manager Hülya Ataman, our teachers and students participated in the program.
Within the scope of the program, ÇEVKO Foundation Projects Senior Expert Fatih ARSLAN shared his presentation titled "Recycling Practices with a Zero Waste Perspective in Turkey" with the participants. During the continuation of the program, zero waste training was given to teachers working throughout Düzce.
Within the scope of the "Hand in Hand for Zero Waste Project", we shared the box games we prepared with our teachers in order to support environmental education with games and ensure their learning is permanent. In addition, within the scope of the project, waste collection boxes will be placed in schools to support environmental awareness and zero waste themed education kits will continue to be delivered to students. In the later phase of the project, it is planned to establish a "Sample Waste Conversion Workshop" where students can experience what they have learned.
Our valued member Netpak Ambalaj Sanayi Tic., who provided bag support to the project in delivering the training kits to teachers and students. We would like to thank A.Ş. The bags were produced from recycled materials specifically for the "Hand in Hand for Zero Waste" project. The task of the bags does not end when they reach the students. Paintable bags turn into fun for students.
T.R. As ÇEVKO, we continue our work with determination, together with the General Directorate of Support Services of the Ministry of National Education, to spread zero waste awareness through education and to adopt a sustainable environmental approach.
