PepsiCo Türkiye Contributes to the Building of a More Sustainable Future with the Electric Vehicles It Adds to Its Fleet
04 May 2023PepsiCo Türkiye added 10 environmentally friendly Renault Zoe and 1 Ford E-Transit 100% electric vehicle to its fleet for a sustainable future.
PepsiCo continues to take new steps to contribute to the construction of a more livable world by focusing on nature and the environment within the framework of its end-to-end strategic transformation pep+ strategy.
PepsiCo, which has undertaken many studies to combat climate change within the scope of the Positive Value Chain agenda, one of the three main headings of this strategy, commits to reduce the emissions from its own operations by 75% by 2030. In this context, PepsiCo is taking important steps towards reducing carbon emissions with the electric vehicles it has included in its fleet, as well as its investments in renewable energy resources.
Within the scope of this global strategy, PepsiCo Turkey added 10 environmentally friendly Renault Zoe and 1 Ford E-Transit electric vehicle to its fleet. While PepsiCo Turkey will gain very important learnings with this pilot study, it will also create an opportunity to better plan how to achieve zero emission transformation for its vehicle fleet.

With this project, we will reduce CO2 emissions by ~55,000 kg
Stating that air pollution is one of the most important causes of health problems and environmental degradation and therefore this project is very valuable for PepsiCo Turkey, PepsiCo Turkey General Manager Evrim Şen said, "With this project, we will reduce CO2 emissions by ~55,000 kg annually. It is a pleasure for us to take another step to reduce our impact on the environment with this project. As we move towards a more sustainable future, electric vehicles will play an increasingly key role in achieving our goals."
