Green Dot Industry Awards Found Their Winners

Industrial Companies Contributing to the Sustainable Environment Were Rewarded

The Green Dot Awards excitement was experienced at the "Conference on Latest Situation in Europe in the Transition to Circular Economy, Extended Producer Responsibility and Digital Solution Proposals in Waste Management", organized on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the establishment of the ÇEVKO Foundation. Industrial organizations with the Green Dot Agreement, which contribute to sustainable development in Türkiye, received the Green Dot Industry Awards.

ÇEVKO Foundation Secretary General Mete İmer stated that the Green Dot brand is among the most successful application examples of the Extended Producer Responsibility model and said, "Green Dot symbolizes the responsible producer and the respect and appreciation of the consumer for producer responsibility. We reward the exemplary work carried out by the organizations that meet the criteria set at the highest level in their environmentally sustainable work, beyond their legal responsibilities, and we aim to encourage all economic enterprises to carry out similar studies."

Yeşil Nokta Industry Awards are held open to the participation of companies that have Yeşil Nokta Brand Sublicense Agreements in Türkiye. The awards are given in three categories: Prevention Practices in Packaging, Waste Management System and Practices, and Environmental Social Responsibility Practices, and are evaluated in two separate classes: large-scale and small/medium-sized enterprises.

The award ceremony started with the speech of PRO EUROPE General Manager Ursula Denison. The awards were presented after the speech of Green Dot Industry Awards Jury President Aslıhan Arıkan explaining the process.

In the

Prevention Practices in Packaging category, PepsiCo with its "100% Recycled Pet Bottle Usage and Packaging Weight Reduction Projects" and Sırma Group with its "Sırma Ecofriendly Ulw" project received the Green Dot Industry Award. While CarrefourSA won two Incentive Awards with its "Eco-Friendly Plate" and "Reusable Box" projects, Mondi Tire Kutsan also won the Incentive Award with its "Monocorr Boiler Box" project.

In the

Waste Management System and Applications category, Anadolu Isuzu was awarded with the "Sustainable and Digital Zero Waste Management System" project, Kampotu İlaç with the "Kampotu Waste Management Applications" project, Migros with the "Packaging Waste Separation at Source Project" and Pepsi Cola Service and Distribution with the "Digitalization in Waste Reduction with Water and Steam Recovery Projects" project. Frito Lay also received an incentive award for its “Frito Lay Suadiye Factory Waste Management System and Applications”.

In the

Environmental Social Responsibility Practices category, Vestel was awarded with the "Vestel White Goods Execution Project" and Vodafone was awarded with the "These Wastes Write Code" project. CarrefourSA won the Incentive Award with its "Come in Your Own Container" project, L'Oréal Turkey with its "Kiehl's Future Made Better Programme" and Vodafone Incentive Award with its "Green Planet" project.
