PepsiCo continues its work to contribute to the planet, people and nature. PepsiCo Türkiye, which carried out many activities with its employees within the scope of Environment Day, raised awareness about environmental sustainability.
PepsiCo continues to work in line with the PepsiCo Positive (pep positive) strategy to contribute to the creation of a sustainable food system by inspiring positive change for the world and people, taking into account the limits of the planet.
PepsiCo carries out many studies for a more sustainable life with its Positive strategy, which is shaped under three main headings: Positive Agriculture, Positive Value Chain and Positive Options. PepsiCo, which has undertaken important projects on environmental and social issues within the scope of this approach that aims for a circular and inclusive sustainable economy, embraces volunteering and supports its employees to make a difference in the communities where they live and work.
Within the scope of World Environment Day, PepsiCo organized many activities to raise awareness with its employees in Turkey. In addition to participating in webinars on sustainability throughout the week, PepsiCo Turkey employees participated in environmental cleaning activities simultaneously in two different regions in cooperation with ÇEVKO Foundation and visited shelters in cooperation with Haytap.
In the webinars, PepsiCo Turkey Sustainability Senior Director Esra İren shared with company employees the work carried out by PepsiCo to build a sustainable food system, help renew the world and mitigate the effects of climate change. Esra İren drew attention to the importance of sustainable production and resources with a circular economy approach for the future of the planet. Within the scope of the events, details of the 'Lay's Regenerative Agriculture' project, which was implemented with the support of the PepiCo Foundation and in cooperation with Anadolu Meraları, were shared.
