Digital Solution for Waste Management from ÇEVKO Foundation
Economic activities in parallel with the increasing population and changing consumption habits bring about the production of increasing amounts and types of waste, and waste must be managed correctly to prevent this increase from turning into a risk for the world.
A sustainable waste management system, created with the contributions and participation of public administration, business world, local governments, media and individuals, is of vital importance for a sustainable world. In addition to the established technical infrastructure, effective informing of people and institutions that are waste producers in order to acquire the necessary behavioral habits is extremely decisive in terms of the effectiveness and efficiency of the work. The operation of this process forms the basis of the Zero Waste Management System.
ÇEVKO Foundation simplifies the waste management process, which is being carried out in a complex structure, with the system it has developed as a result of its 30 years of experience, with its knowledge and experience. It established a model with an interactive, dynamic and sustainable technical infrastructure, completed its integration with all systems included in the waste management process, and offered the holistic solution called PROKETS to the service of companies.
PROKETS provides the necessary infrastructure for the fast and accurate operation of the process, thanks to its tracking, analysis and reporting system that enables the transition of existing waste management practices to the Zero Waste Management System and its integration with the subsystems within the Integrated Environmental Information System, and has indicators of e-library, e-procurement, e-learning, compliance with legislation and international targets.
It is a tracking, analysis and reporting system that enables the transition of existing waste management practices to the Zero Waste Management System and its integration with the subsystems within the Integrated Environmental Information System, and has e-library, e-procurement, e-learning, compliance indicators with legislation and international targets.
Situation Analysis:
Your field of activity, location, building information, number of employees, waste collection equipment, etc. It is the first step of entering basic information and information about your solution partners with whom you cooperate for your waste into the system.
Basic information about the institution and information about your waste management solution partners are entered into the system. The entered information is evaluated in terms of legislation and technical criteria. The warning module is activated and detects any incompatibilities, makes the necessary reminders and prepares a preliminary report for the current situation analysis and needs map.
Determining Needs:
As a result of the analysis of the number of existing accumulation equipment, their volumes and compliance with the legislation, a report is made including the amount of additional need, institution-specific design status, supplier information and evaluation information. Accumulation equipment is labeled with a QR code / barcode and is matched according to its location and purpose of use.
Waste Tracking System:
During the steps of collection, temporary storage and delivery to the licensed company/organization, the data generated at each stage is transferred to the system by scanning via mobile device and/or mobile phone. The traceability chain is completed by combining the information collected specific to the collection equipment, the temporary storage area and the vehicle information to which the waste is delivered. Detailed information on the waste generation area, amount, collection period, waiting time in the temporary storage area, compliance with the legislation of the delivery period, where it is given, and the license status of the given place can be tracked online.
Warning and Reminder:
The information obtained at each step is evaluated in terms of legislation and technical criteria. It is analyzed by comparing it with the permission, license and solution partner information uploaded to the system. Your waste management and zero waste agenda will be created by providing the necessary warnings, reminders and information.
Education:
Prior to the establishment of the system, training is given to the senior management, employees and the personnel who will perform the collection within a mutually determined schedule. Refresher trainings are organized in order to increase the awareness of the personnel and to inform the new personnel.
