L’Oréal Group has been included in the prestigious annual 'A List' for the ninth time by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the world's largest environmental reporting platform, for its leadership in corporate transparency and performance on climate change, forests and water security. L'Oréal Group remains the only company to receive 3A from CDP for 9 consecutive years. L’Oréal Group continues to lead the sustainability revolution worldwide. L'Oréal Group was awarded an A grade by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the world's largest environmental reporting platform, for the 9th time in a row on the themes of "combatting climate change", "protecting forests" and "ensuring water security".
L'Oréal Group's outstanding achievements include the use of 91 percent renewable energy in Group facilities; These include reducing water withdrawals from factories and distribution centers by 54 percent per finished product and producing 93 percent of the bio-based ingredients in their formulas from traceable and sustainable sources.
Making a statement about the CDP's evaluation,L'Oréal Group CEO Nicolas Hieronimus said, "Receiving a triple 'A' score from the CDP for the ninth consecutive year demonstrates our teams' unwavering commitment to sustainability and the deep integration of sustainability into our business model.
