Anadolu Efes Prefers Sustainable Fashion in its Corporate Clothing

Aiming to be net zero in all its operations within the scope of 2030 targets, Anadolu Efes implemented 104 projects worth 107 million TL focused on the climate crisis in 2021. The company continues to reduce its environmental impact by establishing collaborations at every possible point along the value chain.

In this context, Anadolu Efes, which focuses on sustainability in the production of its corporate clothing, collaborated with Gamze Saraçoğlu, one of the important names of responsible fashion, and Tekstar, which produces with an understanding of sustainability in textiles.

In the renewed creation, Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) certified cottons were used. Products with this certificate have 60 percent less carbon footprint than conventional cotton. In addition, 2 tons of recycled fiber material was preferred in the production of the collection. By using the international renewable energy I-REC certificate, 92 percent less carbon footprint was created in production. In addition, the products in the collection were shipped with 100 percent recycled cardboard boxes purchased from FSC certified suppliers. With the production of the 4-season collection consisting of 40 pieces, women's labor and women's participation in business life in Sinop was also supported.
