At the Green Dot Gift Card event organized in cooperation with ÇEVKO Foundation and CarrefourSA, CarrefourSA gift cards worth 50 TL were distributed to a thousand consumers who care about the environmental impact in their grocery shopping and prefer products with Green Dots. According to the results of the "Green Dot Perception Research" conducted by the ÇEVKO Foundation in 2024, the majority of consumers report that they trust Green Dot brands, that they will feel good because they support recycling if they purchase them, that they will continue to use Green Dot products and that they will recommend them to others.
The results of the "Green Dot Perception Research" conducted by the ÇEVKO Foundation in 2024 revealed striking results about the awareness, perception, and purchasing decisions of the international Green Dot brand, which the Foundation represents in Turkey, among consumers in our country.
According to the research results, one in every two people states that they have seen the Green Dot sign before. One in five people correctly explains the meaning of the Green Dot. More than 75 percent of the participants in the research, after a brief introduction, state that they trust Green Dot brands, that they feel good because they support recycling if they purchase them, that they will continue to use Green Dot products and that they will recommend them to others. The majority of consumers participating in the research declare that they perceive companies using Green Dot as companies that fulfill their legal obligations, work on sustainability, calculate their impact on the environment, provide financial support for recycling, and implement producer responsibility. The environmental impact of the product is among the four most influential factors in consumers' decision to choose the brand they choose, attracting the attention of one in every two consumers.
In this context, Green Dot Gift Card events were organized by ÇEVKO Foundation in cooperation with CarrefourSA in order to increase the awareness of Green Dot among consumers and to contribute to the family budgets of consumers who care about environmental impact. The events were held at the ÇEVKO Foundation Green Point stands established in 4 CarrefourSA Hyper Markets in Istanbul: Acıbadem Hiper (Tepe Nautilus), Maltepe Park Hiper, Fulya Hiper and Ataşehir Metropol Hiper.
At the event, consumers who purchased 5 Green Dot products for every 500 TL worth of purchases were given a 50 TL CarrefourSA Gift Card. In these events, where the Green Dot mascot also took part, information about Green Dot and recycling was conveyed to consumers.
