The United States, the European Union (EU) and 11 Countries Launched a Commitment to Reduce Methane Emissions in the Oil and Gas Sector.

In the joint statement made by the USA and the EU, it was pointed out that a new commitment was launched with the participation of 11 countries along with the USA and the EU within the scope of the "Global Methane Commitment Energy Roadmap", and it was promised to reduce methane emissions in the gasoline and natural gas sectors and to end routine emissions before 2030. In addition to the USA and the EU, Argentina, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway and Oman participated in the commitment.
