Green Dot Industry Awards
Among the projects evaluated by an independent Jury within the scope of the 7th Green Dot Industry Awards this year:
Green Dot Industry Awards in the "Prevention Practices in Packaging" category: Abdi İbrahim for 'Smart Software'; It was given to Netpak Ambalaj for their work on 'NETGO, the Cargo Bag that Turns into a Bag for a Sustainable Environment'. Incentive Awards in this category: To Coca-Cola Beverage for its work titled 'Nanostretch Application in Palletizing'; It was given to Sapro for 'Newipe New Generation Baby Wipes'.
In the "Waste Management and Applications" category, Anadolu Efes was deemed worthy of the Green Dot Industry Award with its 'Anadolu Efes Biogas Project' and 'Anadolu Efes Upcycled Malt Fiber Project'.
In the "Environmental Social Responsibility Practices" category, Anadolu Efes won the Yeşil Nokta Sanayi awards with their '+1 Breath to the Sea', Migros 'Respect for Food' and Vestel "Make with Vestel Workshops" projects. In this category, the Incentive Award was given to Gürok Turizm for the 'Ekomat Project'.
Green Dot Press Awards
The Green Dot Press Awards, organized for the 13th time this year by the ÇEVKO Foundation, were given to media organizations and journalists who prioritize environmental news and inform the public about recycling throughout 2024.
In 2024, "What kind of an Economy" in the Newspaper branch, "EkotürkTV" in the Television branch, "TRTHaber.com" in the Internet News Site branch, "Yesilhaber.net" in the Sectoral News Site branch, "Anadolu Agency" in the News Agency branch, "Ekonomist" Magazine in the Magazine branch, "Ekonomist" in the Sectoral Magazine branch “Water and Environmental Technologies Magazine” won an award.
